Anti-phising policy

Phishing

Phising is a criminal activity that uses various techniques to manipulate victims into actions or omissions or to disclose confidential information that they would not otherwise normally provide.

Phishing E-mails may appear to have been sent from a secure/trusted source but are in fact designed to mislead the recipient into revealing information about them (sensitive or not) or lead him/her to a fraudulent website by clicking a link contained in the phishing E-Mail where an attempt will also be made to obtain his/her information and / or to infect his/her computer with malware.

Detection of phishing effects can be facilitated by using a Web browser that has a phishing filter.

Phishing attempt

In case you notice an attempt to make phishing using Figame.com insignia, name, mark, etc. please inform us immediately by sending a relevant E-Mail to privacy@figamegroup.com, while also forwarding the relevant phishingE-Mail or any other relevant information.

Indications that an E-Mail may be a phishing attempt are the following:

  • E-Mail contains obvious spelling mistakes. Phishing scammers often follow this tactic intentionally to avoid activating spam filters used by many ISPs.
  • Links are used to a website that contains all or part of the real name and / or email address of the legal or natural person who wants to own. However the link itself is not the same as that of the actual website of that natural or legal person.
